Introduction
The International Organization of Standardization has developed a new standard – ISO 45001:2018, to address the high risk exists at workplace worldwide. It has been endorsed by the OHSAS Project Group as the replacement for OHSAS 18001:2007. ISO 45001:2018 is being designed and structured with the use of ISO’s common framework for management system standards to ensure a better alignment with other ISO standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
